She had been anticipating this moment since she got ready that morning. Picking her grey jeans, her chunky orange sweater, and the tall brown boots to wear for the day, knowing they would be making this stop along their drive. But as their day started, it looked like it might not happen as they drove through the rain that morning. But as they progressed along and morning turned to afternoon, the rain subsided as they got closer, and they made the stop at the beach she was anticipating. She didn't hesitate and went straight down to the water when they arrived. She found her spot and waded in getting her boot and jeans wet as the waves rolled in around the rocks. She wasn't going to go in very deep, so she found rock to lean against where she could get splashed and enjoy playing in the cool water till it was time for them to move on. It didn't take long for her to get her wish leaning against the rock. She giggled once she was soaked, happy the stop had been as she planned.
