I have seen the comings and goings of time, from the earliest days of civilisation, and every century that passes, I fear civilisation will finally fall. But it always keeps standing, a house with cracks in its foundation and holes in its walls, refusing to collapse. I pray it stays that way—not forever, because that would be foolish, but at least until there are not so many people to break when it falls.
