She couldn't wait to be done with work. She had a half day today and needed to get some shopping done before the Christmas Party that night. But the weather wasn't cooperating, it was dreary and rainy outside in the streets and she had no time to wait for it to stop. So she set out hoping to dodge most of the raindrops, but was still okay if she didn't.
