Snowcap Ferns

Description: Snowcap Ferns are resilient, hardy ferns native to the Shiverglass Fjords, thriving in the cool, shaded crevices of cliffs and moist gullies. Their broad, segmented fronds spread out like delicate fans, each leaf coated with a fine, powdery white substance that resembles freshly fallen snow. This powder is a natural secretion that helps the plant retain moisture and protect itself from frost damage. The fronds range in color from deep forest green beneath the powdery coating to a silvery-white on the surface, giving the plant an ethereal, frost-kissed appearance even in the heart of summer.
