Yes, The Reflex is eerie. However, when I write about her/them, I try to keep in mind her/their playfulness and childish sense of wonder.

Sometimes the hardest children to love are the ones who need it the most.

The Reflex is a trickster. Or rather, cojoined tricksters. If she has a "proper" birth name, then she doesn't use it.

She calls herself "The Reflex" because when the people who originally raised her would yell for (or at) her, then she'd flinch -- as if by "reflex." Thang-1 and Thang-2 simply defines which had that you're addressing.

Paradoxically, the more that she suppresses her superpowers, the more powerful (and unpredictable) her active superpowers become. The amount of chaotic destruction that she can unleash is potentially terrifying...

+ Or potentially hilarious.
