Once upon a time, elephants did not have trunks, only a short stubby nose. The first elephant to get his nose elongated to a trunk was a nosy young elephant calf who got too near to a crocodile at the river Limpopo. The ravenous crocodile caught it by its nosy nose and tried to pull it into the river in order to devour it. Luckily a constrictor who happened to be napping nearby became aware of what was happening and hurried to the elephants rescue. Together they were able to pull free of the crocodiles iron grip, but the elephants nose remained hopelessly elongated. The constrictor helped the elephant calf discover how useful such an elongated nose could be. On it's return home it surprised everyone with its new abilities, resulting in all elephants marching to the river Limpopo to get their nose elongated, too. Ever since, elephants have a trunk.

We will never get away from those who “fix" things that are not broken.

This RealVis has promise. It's not too bad but when I go back annd look at what Jug v9 does with the same prompt, it's a no brainer. v9 gives the sketchiness desired and these try to be flat shapes avoiding sketchiness. Look what v9 did here. I bet the new ones can't allow for that impressionistic sketchy quality.

It is most frustrating for sure. 

The issue is, in my opinion, they can't grasp what it is that makes  something look real made by hand vs these defined things that look like over defined when that is nit the intent.

They need to leave things be and make models that have that too defined look and not make what we was working in hat regard obsolete.
