I dreamt of the great dragon, her golden eyes. She spoke to me.. of a daughter. A drakynd, a rare birth amongst dragons, that hatches human by all appearances.
She was in the orphanage, just where the vision said I would find her, gazing out the window, right at me, as if I she was expecting me. Perhaps she was. I've brought her to the palace, as instructed, as a priest acolyte in training. She is a strange young woman, solemn eyes, for one so young.
Very little is known of the drakynd, and I have never read about Vostigeurne even having a clutch of eggs before, in centuries and millenia past. These are strange times.
These past weeks have shown that she is exceedingly intelligent and hard working, if mostly silent and watchful. She ignores most questions, but says she was born in Athrace.
Why train her as a priest? Surely she will have great magical potential. I will watch over her personally.
