The Enchantress & the Baby Phoenix (3 Versions)

A glittering cape swishes through the night, rustling the leaves, as a hooded figure glides elegantly through the enchanted woods, a glowing lantern in her hands. She’s searching for a few herbs and berries and mushrooms to create a new potion, a new healing potion. “Just need rosemary left,” she whispers underneath her breath, before she pauses as she sees the subtle fiery glow of light coming from a tree in the forest clearing she had stepped foot into. “Oh, no, is it on fire?” She asks worriedly, stepping forward with her lantern and shining it towards the light. A small head abruptly pokes out, followed by glowing red-orange-yellow feathers. A baby phoenix!!! “Oh my!” The enchantress exclaims, before communicating with the baby phoenix in animal language. He was an orphan, and his name was Emberspark. “Come and stay with me,” says the enchantress kindly, “my name is Celeste, and we shall be best friends. I will take good care of you.” Emberspark happily chirps in response. ❤️
