They met by chance, when Claire was sent to kill Broke's boss. She had infiltrated the building and reached the office, where Broke was guarding the door. She had expected an easy kill, but she had not expected to face another cyborg. They fought fiercely, exchanging blows and shots, until they both ran out of ammo and energy. They collapsed on the floor, wounded and exhausted.

They looked at each other, and something happened. They felt a spark, a connection, a curiosity. They realized that they were not alone in this world, that there was someone else like them. They started to talk, to share their stories, to understand each other. They felt something they had never felt before: empathy.
