She knew she would be getting there early. Her flight landed a little after 9:00 that morning, and it was a 45-minute ride to the hotel. So she would be there by 10:30 but wasn't able to check in till 3:30 that afternoon! She decided that when she arrived, she would go see about early check-in. When she got to the front desk, she was disappointed to find out they didn't have a room ready, but they had a secure area to hold her luggage till her room was ready so she didn't have to keep it with her. She was delighted. She left her bags and headed straight for the beach. It didn't take long for her to end up completely soaked, still wearing all the clothes she had worn when she left the blustery weather up north. But that was exactly what she had planned. The jeans, sweater and boots were her swimsuit for the day and her jacket was a bonus since she forgot to leave it with her luggage. She loved the way everything felt as she waded and played in the waves happy everything had worked out.
