Hoooleeeeee shit this is AMAZING! It looks like the extremely baroque fractal pulpit for some alien religion dedicated to ascending/transcending the congregation into a higher realm of consciousness, knowledge, and power (a la the zones of thought in sci-fi luminary Vernon Binge’s masterpiece “A Fire Upon the Deep”, or google “Orion’s Arm” and look up toposophic levels)
Orrrr… perhaps the skeleton of some sort of mechanical creature or a cyborg once all the flesh has decayed, just leaving this golden filigree fossil…
Or who knows what else! For me there’s like levels of abstraction in art that I can jive with and then sometimes stuff that’s just a bit too abstract for me. Like Pollock isn’t my cup of tea for example. But this? This is just the right amount of abstract, really really neat!
