The Five Chaos Gods of WH40K: The Emperor of Mankind (XII)

Yes, I said it. The Emperor himself is the Fifth Chaos god.

I'm about 100% convinced he wiped out his competition and then pretended to disapprove of being deified in order to avoid the fate of those in 40K who previously openly proclaimed themselves as deities. I fully believe it is the Emperor's intent to become a full-fledged Warp entity, if not full blown Chaos god, in the hopes of destroying or at least significantly weakening the other four. In my own fanfic universe, the Emperor of Mankind can additionally be accurately described as the Antichrist with the other four as equivalents to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Of course, the great thing about Warhammer 40K is that we really are all entitled to our interpretations of the deliberately ambiguous and contradictory lore! It's TOTALLY okay if you see things differently!
