#43 in my lyric-prompt series (full lyrics) features the song Charity Ball by a pioneering all-female rock band called "F-anny" (minus the - ). This offering was written by three of their four members, sisters June & Jean Millington and Alice De Buhr and became their first Top 40 hit in the early '70's. The band even performed the song on the classic "Sonny & Cher Show"
