This version of The Russian is terrifying precisely because she is calm. She doesn’t snarl, posture, or boast. She assesses. There is a faint trace of amusement in her expression, not cruelty, but confidence born from experience. She has ended fights before they started, and she knows she will do it again. Heroes don’t see rage when they face her; they see inevitability, and that realization does most of the damage.
