The lobby was so large that their voices echoed as if in a cave. The ceiling, perhaps thirty meters high, was lost in the tropical haze caused by the plants.
Their tents occupied a tiny corner in front of an immense window from which the whole city could be seen.
"This place is perfect," said Katherine, and her voice echoed in the infinite space. Her followers nodded. Home, at last.
"We will stay here," she said. And finally she smiled.
