Moon Dragon

After ranking in a daily challenge with my Sun Dragon, I had to make a Moon Dragon too. Just as the Sun Dragon's power rises and falls with the sun, so too does the Moon Dragon derive its power from the moon. Cloudy weather that blocks the moon weakens it, as with the Sun Dragon, but the Moon Dragon also has to deal with phases of the moon. A new moon weakens the Moon Dragon even on a clear night. But on a clear night with a full moon, it's stronger than the Sun Dragon at high noon on a clear day; this makes up for the Moon Dragon getting fewer peak days than the Sun Dragon.

I was going to enter this in the realistic mythical creatures DC, but I checked the moon phase and found that Nov. 30 is a new moon, so I decided to wait until the next full moon, which is the Dec. 15 Masterpiece Monday. This full moon is a lunar standstill, which hasn't happened since 2006 and will occur next in 2043. Mercury exits retrograde on this day too.
