The road to true love must be long.
I have been on it for all of my life.I may have the music, but not the song,
and I'm still looking for the perfect knife to clip and cut that head of hair
that you have been been growing long in you lair.
But first I want to hide in the cave of your hair.
And only your love so true for me...can take me there.
Come to me, and I'll come to you
And meet in the middle is what we will do.
When you come to me, and I to you.
I hear in war and love, all is fair,
So let me reside in the cave of your hair.
Lying beneath you as you hover there.
And I'll rise to meet you, if you dare
for us to meet in the middle and remain there for all our love and all of our lives.
A poem description I wrote years ago.
The Cave of Your Hair by Travis of Bickley.
The road to true love must be long. I have been on it for all of my life.I may have the music, but not the song, and I'm still looking for the perfect knife to clip and cut that head of hair that you have been been growing long in you lair.
But first I want to hide in the cave of your hair. And only your love so true for me...can take me there.
Come to me, and I'll come to you And meet in the middle is what we will do. When you come to me, and I to you. I hear in war and love, all is fair, So let me reside in the cave of your hair. Lying beneath you as you hover there. And I'll rise to meet you, if you dare for us to meet in the middle and remain there for all our love and all of our lives.
