Sand Cat (Felis margarita)

Sand cats are native to Africa and parts of Asia and are largely nocturnal snake hunters. They are not domesticated but resembled their common household cousins. These elusive cats are rare and with the continued loss of native habitation to human encroachment, sand cats are considered a threatened but not yet endangered species.
