When She summoned me, I had a doubt: but if vampires, I wondered, could not see themselves reflected in the mirror, would Drusilla be able to impress the sensor of my Nikon?

I certainly hoped so: as much as I loved the idea of an unprecedented scoop that would bring me fame and riches, the prospect of dying under the sharp canines of the Lady of the Night was not as enticing.
