Roosevelt had no capacity compared to the heroically alcoholic Churchill and regularly passed out cold. This, of course, had no effect on Churchill, who would mutter bon mots, sing, and, in high dudgeon, make thunderous pronouncements about the outcome of the war.

Eventually the adrenaline would run out and the booze would kick in, and Churchill would flop to the floor and loudly snore, until a maid or butler would come in and roll Roosevelt out of the room and then return to kick Churchill until he made it to a sofa.
