That's horrible (I read your post) and I guess as with big tech, $$$ means more than accessibility and the young market and designers don't care about inclusivity once they've got all the users tied into the apple ecosystem. I'm so sorry and hope you manage to find a new device that meets your needs though you shouldn't have to keep spending and to keep having to do the work of researching to find something that works as well as an ipad used to. I've just spent 6 months trying to find a windows laptop that had large/full size up and down arrow keys, most minimised them since they decided we'd use the touchpad to scroll instead!
