I do know about Ken Kesey.... I went to an Alternative High School and we had his books laying around there (1973-1977) -- well, there were TWO then, I think. The year before, my 8th grade hippie teacher took us to see the play OFOTCN in Providence, RI. Two yrs later, of course, the film came out, which I saw at a drive-in. Funnily enough, my mom saw OFOTCN with the original cast in Cape Cod in 1963 (I think that's the year). It starred Kirk Douglas as the main guy and Gene Wilder as the Billy character!

Oh, I forget -- is that a doc or a filmed version of the book??
