just a test image, wanted to get something out between the trainings. it's likely you may not be able to see the difference between the other image, but that's ok. basically it kinda smoothed it out vs the original, and one bad spot, it kinda melted her hand into the rock. lol but it did help the face and feet a bit. but i think i may lean towards the Wan VAE 2x Upscale since it not only keeps the detail of the exact original image, but also adds a bit w/o changing it like the tiling does.

for this specific image it was gen image with new lora in Krea nunchaku ver, then upscaled with my old tiled Flus Krea Nunchaku upscaler to 14mpix, then the usual GiMP mods.
