The Great Dragon is an entity worshipped throughout the Fourteen Deserts. They existed before the gods and their angels and are responsible for the chain of events that led to the creation of the gods and all of the Worlds, including Earth and the Deserts. The Great Dragon is genderless and represents non-duality, the combined and undifferentiated energies of light and dark.

The Great Dragon is worshipped in many "aspects," meaning They have various forms with different symbols and associations. The aspect of the Great Dragon depicted here is their darkest aspect, depicted as a wingless red dragon surrounded by flames. This aspect is named "Rozhais" and has the title "the Storm-Maker." This aspect represents fire, revolution, storms, change, and chaos. The worship of this aspect is illegal in the Ivory Oasis, and looked upon with fear in most of the Deserts. This aspect is often worshipped by the downtrodden or those desperate for a change in their lives, no matter the cost.
