next time, when fixing faces, don't click 'fix faces' instead use it in your selective edit.

I tried that. It was mangling and/or erasing the head entirely. I've had success with doing this selective edit technique for other images, but this one was just soooo stubborn.

Have you found any methods that produce reliable results in the prompting or other settings for the selective edit tool for faces?

I think one of the core reasons this image struggled so much was that there's just a lot going on both in the foreground and background. So I think the AI just had a hard time distinguishing between the various entities and details.
