I don't see that as a fit for helping the Ten Tales; I see that as an opportunity for personal gain at the expanse of other's suffering. Or basically any of the Arcane Brotherhood wizards throughout recorded history in the Dale-- evil relic-hungry powertripping maniacs. There's a reason he loses more respect for them as he learns more of the history. Leave these greedy villains to rot. Add in fresh madness on top of that, and yeah, I was ready to throw away the character with a reckless death. It was a death sentence for him. It's probably why I failed to do the recap last week, feeling like it was the end of him. Dramatic?
