In the first series of ‘Wanderer under the Sea of Stars’, I combined ‘Wanderer above the Sea of Fog’ (1818) by Caspar David Friedrich, and ‘The Starry Night’ (1889) by Vincent van Gogh, adding flowers and a touch of Monet!

However, none of these outputs feature the wanderer of Friedrich’s painting. So in this second series, I decided to emphasize this painting, and used more blue to stay closer to the Wanderer’s atmosphere.
