History is rarely a tea ceremony or zen garden and those things are all fine and good. Just don’t forget they’re the good times. I’d try to make some really moving art based on japans deep deep history (not the least of which involved the US) but I know the censorship on Nightcafe would never allow it. So I’ll probably try to do something with Yoroi or kimonos or something shallow. Or maybe I’ll hit Netflix.
