Diana nodded, her voice gentle. “Yes. Love is the greatest power you have. It’s what makes you human, what makes you a hero. Be brave enough to embrace it.”

Peter stood up, determination in his eyes. “You’re right. Thank you, Diana.”

As he turned to leave, Diana called after him, “You’re a damned good kisser, you know that?”

Peter smiled back at her. “I’ll remember that.” A minute later, he was on the night air, flying through New York City, looking for the one he hoped would forgive him.

Peter tried to absorb her words. “I thought I was doing pretty good,” he said, a hint of defensiveness in his tone.

Diana’s expression softened even more, a flicker of vulnerability crossing her face. “You are, but there’s more to it. True strength comes from within, from facing your fears and being true to your heart. Believe me, I’ve struggled with this too. It’s not easy, but it’s necessary.”

Peter’s eyes widened. “Tinkerbell?”

“What’s wrong?” she asked, noticing his troubled expression.

Peter hesitated, then slowly confessed, “I feel awful, like I’ve betrayed someone. This… this doesn’t feel right.” His voice trembled, and he was almost crying.

Diana smiled gently. “Bingo,” she said softly.

Peter looked confused. “What do you mean?”

Diana sat down beside him, her eyes serious yet soft. “Peter, being a superhero isn’t just about saving people from danger. It’s about being a beacon of hope, a symbol of integrity. You can’t truly be that if you’re not honest with yourself and those you care about.”
