Autumn Shredder - (SCP-LEAF-001)

Containment Procedures: SCP-LEAF-001 is to be contained in an outdoor facility resembling its natural habitat, equipped with an artificial wind and leaf-dispersal system to simulate autumn conditions year-round.

SCP-LEAF-001 is not to be exposed to open flames or heavy rainfall. Personnel handling the entity must wear protective gloves and goggles due to the risk of minor lacerations.

Regular monitoring is required to ensure SCP-LEAF-001 does not migrate beyond its containment zone.

SCP-LEAF-001 primarily resides in outdoor environments where fallen leaves are abundant. When stationary, the entity blends seamlessly with its surroundings, making detection difficult. When provoked,

SCP-LEAF-001 enters an aggressive state, rapidly rotating and creating small, localized wind currents. These currents are strong enough to shred nearby plant material and clothing but pose no significant threat to human life beyond minor abrasions.

SCP-LEAF-001 is non-lethal and relatively passive unless it perceives a threat to its “territory” (defined as a 10-meter radius). Prolonged observation has revealed that SCP-LEAF-001 will retreat if exposed to fire or extreme moisture, indicating an aversion to environmental changes that could damage its form.
