Good evening, Srishti:
The statement of the evening is "relative". I don't need to know Einstein's revolutionary physics to understand this: Here in Germany it's 7 p.m. - and in India it's already 11 p.m. (or 12 p.m., depending).
Thanks for the greeting RadheRadhe - I had it translated, but only got an approximate answer. What does it mean in English?
About the avatar: No, there won't be a photo on my site. I'm very reluctant to reveal personal details on the internet. As cruel as the idea is - I will have to live with the fact that Deepika is not interested in me! [ 😉 ]
These are really moving words, Srishti, thank you very much. Your reference to Srimati Radharani led to my first contact with her. I completely agree with you: Words certainly cannot capture the fascination of Srimati, not even Google can, but it is a first step.
What you say about singing - I experienced that myself during a cure after an operation, in a rehabilitation hospital. I was in a choir, and to stand in the midst of so many men and women, to be able to participate with my own voice in the whole work of art, that was a great experience, and sometimes I had tears in my eyes.
And as for the film - I also really like Madhuri Dixit Nene and her beautiful dance with Kapoor (what a dancer!!) at the beginning. Have you seen the film?
By the way: I won't be able to get back to you until tomorrow evening ...
You give the viewer some impressions of Indian culture. This young woman reminds me a little of the Indian actress Deepika Padukone. Fascinated by her beauty, I bought the DVD of the film "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" - and am thrilled. Although the film contains a few superfluous - or silly - scenes, the viewer enjoys some enchanting music - and one of the most beautiful love scenes in the universe. Who is Romeo and Juliet? Look at Bunny and Naina! (The music is by Pritam - a blend of Indian and Western elements).

I have read about the festival in Timesofindia (and other sources). Thank you for your suggestion. I find it interesting but can't comment on it at the moment.
It is wonderful how the film "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and your lyrics, Srishti, have introduced me to Indian culture, religiosity and gaiety. If you don't know the film - here is the song "Subhanallah".

Deepika's vocal part in this song is done by Shilpa Rao (from min 2.20). Absolutely enchanting! The link to Shilpa will follow another time - my comment is being moderated now and I don't want to overdo it with links. One user commented on YouTube: "Shilpa's voice is like silk refined with two scoops of chocolate ice cream. Very poetic. I love this voice - and whenever I hear it, I melt like chocolate ice cream. What do you think, Shisri?
