She couldn't believe she had read the text wrong. It said they'd be getting in at 7:30, not that they would be there at 7:30. They weren't going to be there for 2 more hours! Now what to do. She really didn't want to go back home and she wasn't interested in going to wait in the bar. She sat down on a deck chair and stared at the pool. It was still really warm for being late summer and she was suprised the pool was deserted.  She took off her heels and walked to the edge, stepping onto the top step leading to the shallow end  and let her feet soak in the cool water. After a few moments she stepped down another step getting more of her flared jeans wet. They were dark, so they hid that they were wet well. She stepped down again getting wet to her knees. She really wanted to swim, but would she have time to dry? The sun was setting so she couldn't rely on that. She looked at her phone and still had over an hour to wait. The water felt so good but she couldn't decide.
