I wasn't planning on posting her yet, but I've got a lot of character designs to post, and that's not including good alts I really enjoy as well.

Maya is one of my older characters. Originally created as a minor Hyrulean knight in a Zelda fanfiction, her design was loosely inspired by an RPG Maker character sprite.

I generated some versions using a commissioned art as a starting base, but I went ahead today and generated some new ones without using a base image, with this being the best looking one I think.

Maya is a Dame Knight of the Kingdom of Masa, though she was originally a noble from the Kingdom of Omyrus. An incident as a child resulted in the death of her father, a General of the Omyrus, as well as the loss of the entire royal family. She still can't forget the face of the traitor responsible for her father's death, one who she believed was her friend...


Maya has a near-perfect memory. Once she etches something into her mind, she can always pick it back up again, and this extends even as far back as her young childhood. She truly never can forget a face. However, she cannot pick up something form her memory if she never noticed it to begin with.

Maya was taken in by General Jethro Renald for a time until she was reunited with her mother and newborn baby brother, then they settled in a small village in Masa.


When she grew up, Maya enlisted in the army to follow in her father's footsteps and also to honor her debt to General Jethro.
