Under Her Spell

You were scrolling through pictures online and caught a glimpse of green eyes.

"Look closer," you hear.

You find yourself obeying the voice. You click the photo and are soon greeted by a glowing green circle. A black spiral within starts to spin.

You can't look away. You don't want to.

Later - who knows how long - there are two green circles, still spiraling, still entrancing you.

Next you see a pair of glowing green eyes. You are still caught in the spiral.

"Come to me," the voice says.

Instructions appear on your screen. You follow them.

You go to the beach. You wait there, unmoving.

She appears. Her green eyes glow. They look almost human, but if you look very closely, you can see the slightest hint of spirals out of her irises. Or into them?

It doesn't matter.

You don't need words anymore. You don't matter anymore. Your body obeys her whims.

Your mind sees only spirals.

Forever.
