Level Design:

Level 1: The Rotting Wing

The Rotting Wing is an unsettling area characterized by decayed walls, peeling paint, and an overwhelming stench of mildew and rot. Shadows cling to every corner, and the dim lighting creates an atmosphere ripe for terror. The air is heavy, thick with the palpable sense of dread that emanates from the very walls of the house.

The level comprises five segments, each increasing in difficulty and complexity:

Segment 1: The Foyer of Shadows

Description: A large, open area filled with dusty furniture and broken chandeliers. The shadows flicker ominously as the player moves through.
Goal: Locate the old diary hidden within the foyer, which holds crucial information about the Watcher's history.
End Goal: Find the diary before the timer runs out, leading to the next segment.

Segment 2: The Hall of Echoes

Description: A narrow hallway lined with old portraits. The eyes of the portraits seem to follow the player, heightening the tension.
Goal: Solve a puzzle involving the portraits that reveals a secret passage.
End Goal: Successfully reveal the hidden doorway to progress further into the level.

Segment 3: The Moldering Library

Description: A room filled with rotten books and shelves that creak ominously. A sense of wrongness pervades this space.
Goal: Find and assemble a torn page that contains instructions on how to banish the Watcher temporarily.
End Goal: Assemble the page while avoiding the Watcher's detection.

Segment 4: The Nursery of Nightmares

Description: An unsettling child's nursery, complete with a broken crib and toys scattered across the floor, exuding an air of lost innocence.
Goal: Identify the source of the child's laughter echoing through the room, revealing another piece of the Watcher’s history.
End Goal: Interact with a haunted toy that leads to a clue for the next segment.

Segment 5: The Maw of Despair

Description: A darkened room that seems to shift and grow in size, with twisted branches and roots sprouting from the walls, symbolizing the house's sentience.
Goal: Perform a ritual using items collected throughout the previous segments to weaken the Watcher.

End Goal: Successfully complete the ritual, which allows you to escape the level.
