The world will always be filled with inadequate and the hateful, and yes, people do hate for the sole purpose of being jealous and the need to feed their egos. I have never won one single challenge which just shows me I'm definitely not liked for my outspoken attitude against plagiarism and my cockiness about my work. Haha 😄 We all know I sley most these tired a$$ creations using one pinky, hahs I am praying for ONE ON ONE challeges so we can really whose talented and I'm hoping for being able to see who has viewed your creation without liking so they can no linger hide where they are drawing their inspiration from. I have 340 followers but only get maybe 1 like per creation but already know all 300+  have looked at it and some even recreate them within minutes of me creating the., so bold in their inadequacies 😄 one can hope anyways, I'm ready to leave piles of them in my wake, 😄 🤣 PLEASE GIVE US 1 on 1 Challenges, I think i figured out how to do them just in  chat forum🔥👊

awww Jon, it sounds like you've had more than your fair share of sad experiences. I like to see the good in everyone and give everyone the benefit of the doubt (some say I'm way too trusting and naive! lol) generally keep my head down, but I just felt on this occasion I needed to speak out as I've just been seeing it more and more. one on one challenges, now there's an idea. Not sure NC will ever bring in anything like that. BEfore I got into AI, I was very much into Photography and played an awful lot on Gurushpts, became a guru V. They started doing challenges a little like that. But I'm not sure it would ever work here. 

I cut hair for a living, been doing it since I was fifteen. I have been writing creative short stories since I was 10, and only started doing this to make the chapter art and book covers for a 9 book series I am writing called, 
THE PRINCE OF PARTICLES, it's three trilogies, another horror novel called, The Shadows of Yesterday,  and a really cool 1970s type of kung-fu flick novel called, The Lotus of Midnight.  I can create a never before seen image in less than .30 seconds, 😄 This sh1t comes easy to me. I know I'm the most innovative, most hated, and imitated artist on here. I am totally used to dealing with haters. I'd hate me too if I was them, because I'm freaking awesome,

I know I'm not alone here with my feelings of sadness  when it comes to DownVoting. Thankfully, I'm pretty confident that the vast majority of folk out there are fair when it comes to voting. I run challenges myself and so far am pleased to say I've seen no evidence of this as yet.

 So here are my questions to those of you who do downvote and probably aren't even reading this!

1) Do you appreciate that everyone has different artistic styles?
2) can you respect that whilst an image may not be to your liking, it has taken time and effort to create?
3) is winning so important to you that you will deliberately give a low vote on other folk's entries?

me personally when it comes to voting:
basic rating I always start from is a "3". This will be for images I deem as ok but not exactly my faves.
if I really like an image I'll give it a "4". 
If I absolutely love an image, it gets a "5".

Do I downvote myself?
The only time I will vote lower than a 3 is if the entry is off theme.
