I cant imagine how painfully tight the hand tied corsets would feel & the multilayered fabrics of petticoat & wired hoop structure under the outer dress fabric...but, the handy work would be magnificent to be sure! 

i guess they really do sew people into their dress for exotic events! 
so many clothes of one person! all to make a point - 'I'm this rich.'
