Once upon a time, there was a gold dragon named Gilda. She was the most beautiful dragon in the whole world, with scales that shone like sunlight and eyes that sparkled like rubies.
Gilda lived high up in the mountains, with her nest of eggs. She loved her eggs very much and she took great care of them. She would sit with them all day long to keep them safe and warm.
Each day at dawn the sunlight would sparkle on her beautiful nest of eggs and Gilda would smile a warm and contented dragon smile to see how they were growing, soon they would begin to hatch and Gilda would welcome her little dragons into the world.
