What a true-to-life image! The Ripper's near-silhouette is haunting and the street looks authentic as far as I know. The scene would be from 1891, on Tottenham Court Road, the first of London's streets to have street lights installed. I don't know what those early lights looked like, though. Anyway, really great image!
