Clara and Shadow

Clara, a ten-year-old girl born in the mill town of Millville, lost her parents to a factory accident that left her clinging to the only family she had left, a loyal black lab named Shadow. Together they wander the edges of town, Clara scavenging what she can while Shadow stands guard, his keen instincts keeping her safe from danger. Though their days are hard, the two share a bond forged by survival, finding warmth in the glow of the shack’s windows and hope in each other as they dream of a better life beyond the smoke and rails.
