And the storm starts to build.

Its only been a few weeks since everything started falling apart. They
haven’t stopped loving each other—they’re just tired. Tired of the fights.
The walls. The words that always come out wrong.
So he plans the boat ride. One last try. A quiet moment. A chance to say
*I still care. I’m still here.*
But it doesn’t go that way. The silence is too heavy. The pain too fresh.
And somewhere between the waves and the wishing, they forget why they
came. Blame takes over. And again, they drift further apart.
They stay out there—adrift, upset, and no closer to fixing it. And just
beyond the horizon, the sky is starting to darken. The storm hasn’t hit yet,
but it’s coming.
In the sand, back on shore, a shell glows faintly. The ocean remembers
what they’ve forgotten: They didn’t come here to win. They came here to
*hold on.*
