The prompt had been 'enhanced' before on Nightcafe. Originally it consisted of these lines:
what brings life also brings death, and what brings death also brings life. A man carries the sun over the horizon on his back, always moving forward, one foot after the other in hopes of seeing the light, unaware that he has to let go.
I copied these from my son's Facebook status. When I asked him about where it came from, he said that it was his interpretion of a Maori Haka.
