Haunted Holidays – The First Harvestkeeper

In the orchards beyond the harvest road, where the trees grow twisted and the roots crawl like fingers, there lives a lantern no one remembers lighting. And yet..everytime around the harvest it burns.

Some say it belongs to the wind. Others say it belongs to the dead. But the truth is simpler. It belongs to the Lantern Keepers.

Nobody ever sees them arrive. They appear when the veil turns thin, when the last apples fall and the world holds its breath before winter. They bring no words, no warnings...only light. Not the warm kind that chases fear away, but the kind that reveals what was always there. Things that should have stayed hidden. Paths that never should have been walked.

Tonight, for the first time in a hundred festivals, one of them has stepped beyond the treeline.

And the harvest… is waking.
