In 1983, two rivalling Bond movies hit the movie theaters. In the apocryphic one starring once again Sean Connery after a 12-year break. Of course, the producers fought each other to the bone. Roger Moore's side scored a coup, when they got Sean Connery for a very well paid "cameo" as the obligitory previous-Bond-kill scene at the beginning of the movie.
As a first surprise scene, Miss Moneypenny, while leading James Bond into M's office, suddenly turns around and kills him by throwing him with his head against the hat hook at her office wall, when he fondled her. What she has dreamed of for decades. Him fondling her, that is. She figured, this Bond was not only presumed dead before, but he would not be interested in her that way, so he must be an impostor. Right she was! As a potshot against the other production, the new Sean Connery Bond was declared to come from an evil mirror universe.

1: The scene was eventually deleted. Thus making Sean Connery the up til then best payed actor, who never appeared in a final cut of a movie. Not because of the far-fetched content. But because test audiences wondered, wether in fact the Roger-Moore-Bond world would be the mirror universe. As they didn't believe, in our universe, Miss Moneypenny would and could kill James Bond. Only decades later, with yet another Bond actor, Miss Moneypenny was revealed to be an ex-agent herself. Today's quiz: In which well-known movie did someone get killed in a very similar fashion.
