what brought this on? Yesterday (February 13th 2025) I attended a celebration of Ernst Fuchs 95th Birthday, a 10 year memorial, since he passed away in 2015. I took a couple of detail shots of what I admired most, that was his drawings. One of them I used as a seed image in an earlier (unpublished) creation.  The enhanced prompt from it I used here.

Copying the enhanced prompt from a previous creation that was based on Ernst Fuchs and mixed with another prompt I use often to describe my own style, which in some ways is influenced by Ernst Fuchs.

Also in the prompt is H.R. Giger. The connection is obvious: Giger admired Ernst Fuchs, and like myself, considered him his mentor. Fuchs was one of the founders of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, which took elements from Surrealism, but followed the old-master techniques that ranged from the Pre-Raffaelites to Art-Nouveau, but had its technical origins in the International Gothic Art, such as the Van Eyck Brothers.
