this is closer to what I was after; an 'onsen' is basically a japanese 'hot spring' but it can also refer to hot tubs - the look i was going for is an onsen from a resort in Hokkaido that was a man made hot tub but it was designed to appear like a large cavern with smooth stones, waterfalls and lots of plants...
