Sisters of the Dawn-Kin council

Vaelthira’s sister is named Serelya Aurélótë — born of quiet grace, moon-soft eyes, and hands made for blessing, not blades.

Where Vaelthira carried storm in her chest, Serelya carried morning light — the warmth that grows after frost breaks.

They were two halves of one breath:

Vaelthira, omen-feather, hearer of war-winds.

Serelya, petal-veil, healer of sorrow and soft keeper of peace-songs.

As children, they lay in moss fields, braiding each other’s hair with river reeds and dawn blossoms. Serelya would trace runes on Vaelthira’s wrist and whisper:

“Strength does not roar. Sometimes it simply stays.”

Vaelthira never feared the feather — not while Serelya held her hand.

When the raven-stag brought the red plume, Serelya did not cry like the council. She pressed her forehead to Vaelthira’s and said:

“Then I shall be your dawn even if you must walk the night.”
