Churning in its hypnotic periwinkle, sunlight draws the minnows upwards unto death, the bright winged birds blaze the air with thrusts that rip the rills in tatters, laughing as they shear off into the clouds to bathe in mist,
And the trout throws its sleek carapace to snatch its meals that purr across the waters rippling skins, eyes shining from their side long pendulations, the long mouth draws its spiny teeth down to crack the grainy exoskeleton, dousing again the rushing expanse,
And always the pendulum swings in these cyclic devourings, the needled nose, primed from birth for its inevitable puncture, the scaled abdomen hardening by equal measures from its issue into the winding ribbons, drawing down their curtained trenches into the seas
