I'd have to check with people who work with both, but my guess is that Cyclopia is more difficult to cultivate than Aspalathus. Honeybush is cultivated, but the bulk (>80%) of the crop is still wild-harvested according to both DALRRD and ARC information sheets. My guess is that this why it is generally blended in with rooibos. It is delicious.
