The Poetry Challenge 2 - The Hollow Men by T. S. Elliot - 6/18
The Hollow Men by T. S. Elliot is a poem that speaks in metaphors about the shell shock and the horrors of WWI.
Those who have crossed With direct eyes, to death's other Kingdom Remember us-if at all-not as lost Violent souls, but only As the hollow men The stuffed men.

I don't usually comment on the art connected with war, but I need to make an exception here. This a truly worthy tribute, it's great you've used Elliot's poem too. Such heartbreak and freezing emptiness in this picture, despite all the flowers. It's like being separated from nature by the invisible glass wall of trauma. It's a deep topic for me, especially with occupation and destruction of my neighbouring country still going strong
